ITS Indonesia organized two microarray seminars on 28 and 29 April at Eijkman Institute of Molecular Biology and University of Indonesia, Faculty of Biomedic respectively. The guest speaker for the seminar was Dr Russell L. Mc. Innes and the opening speech was presented by Dr. Herawati Soedoyo. The seminar topics in discussion include Basic Principal of Microarray, Microarray Applications, and the Current Progress and Future Direction.

Most of the seminar particpants found the session informative and particularly useful in understanding how the Microarray technique enables research to be done on the cellular level.
